Yes, the service is free as the Shelter is non-profit.
Our services are not limited to UAE nationals; they are available to all residents of Ras Al Khaimah. In cases where similar services are not available in other emirates of the UAE, Aman Shelter for Women and Children will provide the necessary services to residents of the other emirates as well.
Yes, the Shelter provides financial assistance, including rent, school fees and medical treatment expenses to victims’ families, whether inside or outside the UAE, in cooperation with charitable societies in Ras Al Khaimah. Victims may also be eligible to receive financial support from the Human Trafficking Victims Support Fund, which is administered by the UAE National Committee to Combat Human Trafficking at the Ministry of Justice.
Consultations are general. They are offered to women, men, children and adolescents.
The Shelter does not provide neutral locations for child visitations, as this is handled by Ras Al Khaimah Courts.
Yes, there is a department concerned with providing community education programs.
